·         Atlantech International, Inc. (Tensar)  1998-2002

Director, Corporate Development responsible for new net products, processes (extrusion and orientation), and applied technology.  Greatly increased extrusion and orientation capacity by improved designs and scaleup.
 

·         Conwed Plastics   1992-1998

VP, Technology responsible for RD&E of new net products, processes, plants, and equipment.  Developed and commercialized new technology, dramatically  increased new product sales (Conwed record for sales and for development efficiency), and designed, built, and started $10 million (state of the art) plant expansion.  Initial planning for European Plant.

Technical Director, blown film products and processes, installation and startup of new 5-layer blown film line for industrial, food, and medical packaging.

Manager, Corporate R&D, new composite board products and processes – invention and commercialization.

Manager, Corporate Research & Industrial Board Sales – invention of new board processes.  Increased sales to the office furniture market.

Assistant General Manager (& Technical Director), Conwed Plastics Division – Invented new products and processes.  Increased extrusion rate by almost four times initial operation. 

Marketing Manager (& Technical Director), Conwed Plastics Division – Started up the extrusion and orientation equipment, developed fundamental oriented net products and processes.  Started up at end of 1966, profitable for full year in 1967 and thereafter.

Founder/Inventor, Conwed Plastics Division, Wood Conversion Co – Personally responsible for extruded netting as a business opportunity.  Invented and developed extruded net process and orientation process.  Project terminated twice, but kept alive by the writer.
 

·         GT Schjeldahl Corporation  1960

Inflatable structures for space, Project Leader/Manager.  Designed and built 40 ft metallized Mylar sphere and canister for space launch by US Navy.  Designed 12 ft inflatable solar collector for space.
 

·         Lithium Corporation of America, Inc.  1955 – 1960

Physical chemistry and commercial development.  Specialized in Rocketry, nuclear applications, isotope separation technology, and thermodynamics.
